Element table
The row is the monster’s element, the column the element of your attack. The value is the share of damage that lands. The level is shown next to the element on each monster page — “Water 2” means the water row in the table for level 2.
Defender level
− heals the monster 0 no damage < reduced = full > increased » greatly increased
The two cases worth knowing
- Negative values heal. A shadow attack on a level 4 undead monster does not do little damage — it heals it. That is the most expensive mix-up in this table.
- The level flips rows. The same element behaves differently at level 1 and level 4. Reading the row without the level means reading the wrong row.
Where the numbers come from
Zero-verified This table applies to Ragnarok Zero and replaces the renewal version from rAthena. The comparison on 26 August 2026 found renewal matching in 74 of 100 cells and pre-renewal in 90 — so neither. Zero mixes the two. Source: midgardhub.com, as of 2026-08-26.
The same numbers appear on every monster page in the row belonging to that monster, and in the dataset at /api/monsters.json under elementtabelle.
